DETAILS OF CLUSTER:

 

 1. KHADI CLUSTER AT KANDANOOR:

 

The Proposal of  the Khadi Cluster  has been approved under SFURTI Scheme at Kandanoor  Khadi Complex near Karaikudi.

          The implementation of the scheme  is being looked after by KVIC, Madurai.

2.      SINGAI COIR CLUSTER: (TUFTED MAT PLANT)

 

  Proposal for setting up of common tufted Mat Plant Unit   at a cost of Rs. 6.6 crores  has been approved by the Government of India under Cluster Development  Programme  which is implemented

by Singai Coir  Cluster through Coir Board.

III. RICE MILL CLUSTER PUDUVAYAL AND PALLATHUR.

            Diagnostic studies were conducted by the NI, MSME, Hydrabad.  The detailed study report (DSR) have been submitted   for further action.

II.    Details of Rajiv Gandhi Udyami Mitras Yojana (RGUMY) 

 

                     Proposals were forwarded  for two institutions vize SIDISSIA, Sivaganga  and Centre for Women Studies, Karaikudi  under this scheme for approval.  The screening Committee has approved 

the two institutions and further details are awaited.

III. FACILITATION  COUNCIL

 

                     Three applications have been placed in the Facilitation Council  and two of them have been disposed.  One case namely M/s. Renaissance Petrolube Limited  is still pending.

 IV. COURT CASE :

 

                     One case  filed by M/s. Bava Maasha Rice Mill, Puduvayal is pending  before Madurai Bench of  Madras High Court, Madurai.  The counter affidavit approved by the Government  have been filed. 

The case is yet to come up for  hearing.
